The National ACDA is working to make sure every MS.JH choral music teacher in the country is aware of the very first National Convention for Middle School/Junior High Choral Music, planned for February 29, 2012, Dallas, Texas. The deadline for choir submissions is June 1, 2011.
Our National R & S Chair, Gretchen Harrison, and the Director of the Cambiata Institute of America, Alan McClung, are asking you to help them get the word out. This convention is presented jointly by ACDA and the Cambiata Institute of America for Early Adolescent Vocal Music. It will precede the Southwestern ACDA Conference, also in Dallas.
The organizers plan to feature nine junior high/middle school classroom choirs, seven experienced and outstanding presenters, a junior high/middle school research poster presentation and a cambiata composition initiative and contest.
