Dear ACDA Officers and Choral Music Colleagues: We need your help!
In 2016, the Cambiata Institute, located at the University of North Texas, Denton, will host the third MS/JH National Conference for Choral Music. Similar to the 2012 and 2014 Conferences, this Conference will advocate for the pedagogical interests of middle school choral music educators. Typically, eight middle school classroom choirs, comprised of three treble choirs, three cambiata boy choirs, and two mixed choirs, are selected by blind audition to present. Choirs from Mississippi, Maryland, Kansas, and Texas have participated. Interspersed with sessions that focus on the pedagogical interests of middle school choral music educators, the MS/JH National Conference has received high praise.
