Dear Choral Colleagues,
The National Sing Up Membership Campaign starts September 15 and will run through November 15, 2020. Our state is given 20 complimentary one-year memberships to use for recruitment purposes with the goal of retention and commitment after the complimentary membership expires.
Traditionally, we would like to award the memberships to people who will be new to ACDA or whose membership has expired at least 3 years, and they otherwise meet the requirements for Active membership.
This year we are also authorized to use these complimentary memberships to respond to hardship cases. Examples might be an established member who has lost their job, or whose income has been impacted.
All student memberships, new and renewing, are $5 through June 30, 2021.
If you are involved with student chapters at your institution, this is the time to encourage your students to become members.
The form that new members will have to submit is available electronically, which makes this process truly easy (no filling out of paper forms, no mailing of anything). Please email Gabriela Hristova for more information.
