Jennifer BrenemanJennifer Breneman has been teaching for Midland Public Schools since 2005 and has taught at all three middle schools in the past before becoming the Choral Director at Midland High.

She is actively involved in music in the mid-Michigan area. In addition to her school ensembles, she also directs the Youth Honors Singers, a community children’s choir; assistant directs the Camerata Singers and is a founding member of the vocal jazz group Good Company. Mrs. Breneman has been a featured soloist with a variety of groups including the Saginaw Bay Orchestra, Rochester Symphony, Bay Chorale, SVSU Choirs, CMU Choirs, Kellogg Community College Choirs, U of M Flint Choirs and the Music Society Chorale performing works such as Mozart's Requiem, Bach's St. Matthew Passion, Handel's Messiah and Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass.

In 2006, Mrs. Breneman was named Midland Symphony and Midland Music Society’s Musician of the Year. She also serves on the State Board of the American Choral Director’s Association and is an active member of the Michigan School Vocal Music Association.

Mrs. Breneman lives in Midland with her husband, Gary, and her two daughters, Emily and Amanda

The mission and purpose of the Boy Choirs & Children's Choirs section is to provide a vehicle of communication from the board of directors to the membership. Repertoire and Standards committee chairs are required to contribute one article per year, due in September, as part of their responsibilities.
