The Imuka Singers (http://www.imukasingers.org/contact.html) is an East African group that "harnesses the energy and passion of East African music...to promote economic development in their communities, and to foster cultural ties with the world." On a recent trip to Africa, Dr. Eugene Rogers, Associate Director of Choirs at the University of Michigan, was charmed by them.
